LEGAL STRUCTURE & ORGANIZATION
Cambridge Advisory has been organized as a Delaware limited liability
company. (LLC) The Governance Committee, comprised of Voting Members,
Non-Voting Members and Non-Member Directors, will raise capital,
establish financial and operational policies and provide strategic
leadership and planning. The expertise brought to the Governance
Committee will enable the Advisory to increase its value and attract
additional human and material resources over time.
Cambridge Advisory’s professional management team is being built
around two experienced and highly successful educational entrepreneurs.
As Chairman of the Governance Committee and CEO of the Company,
Mr. Ahlstrom’s integrity and leadership will ensure that the policies
and priorities of the Governance Committee and investors are carried
out in the day-to-day operation of the company. As Vice-President
for School Development, Charles W. Jackson represents one of the
most talented educational executives in the United States, with
special expertise in the development and management of public
charter schools.
Richard Seltzer, serves as Chief Financial Officer and comes
to the Advisory after a long and highly successful career as the
Chairman and CEO of DPRA Incorporated, a 300 person, employee-owned
technology and engineering consulting firm.
The Principals in the organization of Cambridge Advisory recognize
that their expertise is in general corporate leadership, business
management, curriculum & product development, the training
of educational leaders and the establishment and operation of
high-performance schools. They are currently exploring partnerships
that will enable the Advisory to build out its distance learning
and social network platforms. Other senior management and staff
positions will be filled according to the carefully budgeted start-up
staffing plan.
